Nicole Lavarias

Clinical Director

What I do at Apara Autism Centers

My role at Apara Autism Centers - McKinney is responsible for overseeing the quality, integrity, and effectiveness of all clinical services provided to clients with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental needs. This role ensures that all treatment programs are grounded in evidence-based ABA principles, individualized to client goals, and delivered in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

I lead and supports a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), BCaBAs, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other clinical staff. They are responsible for clinical supervision, staff development, and fostering a culture of compassionate, data-driven care. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high clinical standards while also contributing to organizational growth and innovation.

This role is essential to ensuring that the clinic delivers ethical, effective, and compassionate care while maintaining a strong reputation within the community and the broader field of ABA.

Who am I?

I have been working with children and adults with autism since 2007.  I have been a special education teacher, an RBT, a BCBA, a special education coordinator, and am now loving my role as a clinic director. I have a great passion for not only watching and helping clients grow but also helping my staff grow as well.
